Sotogrande famous for its Polo and for being one of the most exclusive areas in all of Europe. There are three Soto areas Puerto (Port), Costa (beach) and Alto the inland area close to the golf clubs and near to the supermarkets. Soto is slightly busier with lots of restaurants in the Port area. Sotogrande boasts a beautiful beach, is lush green and truly beautiful in summer.
There are plenty of grand apartment blocks and spectacular villas to choose from. Gibraltar is a twenty minute drive to the border. There are occasional buses but it can take up to 1 hour to Gib, therefore a car is essential. A taxi from the border is approximately €30.
