The inner façade has large openings in arched conceived as grandstands at different heights where the leading families of the city stood to follow the popular celebrations and the entrance of famous people who came to her. The Torres de Serranos became prison for nobles and knights from 1586, maintained this role until 1887. The monument has been declared of historical and artistic interest. Visit Spain.
