A living monument to the enlightened mind, a Buddhist monument for peace, prosperity and harmony in the world and an ideal place for learning, reflection and meditation. inaugurated on October 5, 2003. Stupa, along with the activity performed in it, is managed and administered by the Karma Kagyu Benalmádena Cultural Association and its spiritual guide is the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje Tinley. This Stupa was built thanks to the inspiration of the Great Teacher Buddhist Bhutan, Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche, the cooperation of some of his Western disciples and with the support of the City Council of Benalmadena, with its former Mayor Don Enrique Bolin.
