Restaurante La Casa del Rey
In the old town of Estepona, next to the emblematic Plaza de las Flores, and framed inside a house with over 200 years of history, La Casa del Rey is a “wine bar – restaurant” which opened on 5 December 2012. The reform of the House was carried out maintaining all the historical character and beauty that makes our house a unique place in Estepona.
The decor and original idea of turning it into Vinoteca-Gastrobar is Liliane Reinders, current owner of the royal palace and Reinaldo Bar located in the Marina of Estepona. Every corner of our house talking about the history of our people and their people, and have spoiled every detail to make it happen. From our courtyard where you can have an intimate evening, to our inner table ideal for tasting wine tasting. Come to know our house. We wait for you!
The kitchen of the Casa del Rey runs account our Chef David Garcia and his team. We only work with top quality products to offer a wide range of day skewers with innovative recipes but always respecting the traditional cuisine. In our menu includes main dishes, kebabs, toast and rations to share. The wine selection makes our Sommelier Ferran Pacheco and has more than 300 references of wine, 50 of them served by the glass. We work exclusively with wines that are not found in supermarkets and especially to offer our customers a unique experience. In our head table offer guided tasting and pairings in Castilian and English tastings.
Finally, our team room is run by Ana Robaina, offering a service to match our friendly house but at the same time trying to add to our customers to our family which is the royal palace. Come and meet us. We wait for you!
