Plaza de San Mateo, Cáceres, Spain

This square is located in the highest part of the Monumental City of Caceres. Here we can see: the Palacio de Ulloa fifteenth century, which now houses the School of “Eulogio Blasco” Fine Arts; the Church of San Mateo, built between the XV and XVIII centuries on the site of the old mosque. To the right can be seen the Convent of Santa Clara, where you can buy delicious homemade pasta. Visit Spain. Epic Spain Route © Monika Newbound
