The Mexuar is the oldest room. Used for meetings of the king’s ministers as well as place where justice was imparted. Next we arrive at the palace of Comares , its construction dates from the time of Yusuf I , this residence was constituted around the patio of the Arrayanes , in such a way that in the lateral you can find the rooms of the Embajadores and the one of the Barca . The Ambassadors’ room is located inside the tower of Comares . The palace of the Lions , from the time of Mohamed V, are also royal stays. It consists of a central courtyard, the Patio de los Leones, and each side room, with the Mocárabes , Kings , Dos Hermanas , Ajimeces , viewpoint Daraxa , the Abencerrajes and Harén .
