Palace Golfines Down, Renaissance style, served the Catholic Monarchs stay while visiting this city.
Located in the city of Caceres, the Palace of the Golfines de Abajo it was built by the branch of the Golfin who settled in this city in the Reconquista. As you can see, this building has two distinct styles, on the one hand is a house-fortress of the fifteenth century and secondly, their own construction humanist style of the sixteenth century.
The first tower stands with two lateral parapets and arches, while the second stands a Plateresque cresting of fantastic animals that crowns the facade. Interior must highlight the living lineages, rectangular structure with polychrome caissons.
