Take it all in with a Stroll along Old Tel Aviv Port Area, where the city folk come out to eat, drink, and play in close proximity to the ocean.
Originally established in the 1930s to serve as the main commercial harbor for the city, the “namal” (port) never quite lived up to that expectation. Today, the redeveloped area features a long boardwalk, lined by Israeli and international clothing stores, cafes, and restaurants.
At night, the city’s young residents swarm the many nightclubs and bars in the area, sometimes spilling onto the beach and invading the sand. A visit to Old Tel Aviv Port Area represents is a must see, must do, enjoyable expereince.
