Ferry Port Ubay
Ubay is a thriving port town and considered as Bohol’s principal gateway to Leyte, Samar; which is connected by barge to Matnog in Sorsogon and eventually on to Manila and vice versa. The following bus lines service the route from Manila to Bohol: Philtranco, Megastar, and Bolaños. Megastar and Philtranco have at least twice daily trips.
It is also the principal gateway to Mindano via Southern Leyte; by barge from Ubay to Southern Leyte then barge again to Surigao del Norte and then land trip to all points of Mindanao. Bachelor and Ceres bus lines services the route from any point in Mindanao to Bohol.
The Ubay port plays host to vessels from Cebu City, the hub of Central Visayas. Four vessels ply the route to Cebu daily and vice versa.
