Conjunto Arqueologico Baelo Claudia, Cádiz, Spain
Join guided tours we do every Wednesday at 12:00 h in Baelo Claudia. Since the seventh century AD Cove Bologna had remained almost deserted. However, between 1700 and 1900 some news of scholars and travelers that signal the presence of Roman ruins are produced, which are identified very early with Baelo Claudia. However, it is from 1917 when the city falls squarely in archaeological research from the four campaigns carried out by the French Spanish scholar Pierre Paris, which excavates much of the basic structure of the city, while George Bonsor makes another both in the eastern necropolis.
