Castillo de Zahara de la Sierra, Zahara, Cádiz, Spain
Remains of Castillo and Torre del Homenaje centuries XIII to XV. There are few remnants of the old medieval village of Zahara so we can get an idea of what was its original appearance. Not surprisingly, the whole village was surrounded by a wall made up of canvases with towers at intervals defensive cordon, around the crenelated being set; and even in several places defended by two walls – that three make if we consider themselves the castle itself. The canvas is best preserved city wall in the eastern area. The original defensive set, which today draws more attention, being the only preserved is the Tower of Homage.Visit Spain.
