Alice Springs Telegraph Station, Alice Springs

A visit to Alice Springs isn’t complete without going to the Telegraph Station Historical Reserve. This is the best-preserved station along the Overland Telegraph Line and is one of the original sites of European settlement in the township of Stuart, later renamed Alice Springs, established in 1872. Alice Springs Telegraph Station is located within the Alice Springs Telegraph Station Historical Reserve, four kilometres north of the Alice Springs town centre in the Northern Territory of Australia.
